Harvest 2012

The Malbec harvest began on April 5, just ahead of Easter, and was completed by April 12. Seriously concentrated fruit flavors, judging by the berries. A strong Zonda wind at flowering in November cut volume down by 30%, leaving excellent quality clusters, without the need for green culling.

Next to harvest was the Syrah, and last the Cabernet, which was left to hang until perfect ripeness, and brought in just ahead of the first winter cold, finishing on April 22.
